Hypothetical Conversation with an Alien.
If an alien species is advanced enough for interstellar travel, the development of philosophy would be miles ahead.
Imagine you had this once in a lifetime opportunity to ask this entity some questions.
What would you ask?
To get a refreshing outlook at our Milkyway, I would ask questions on the three pillars of the human experience: mind, body, and spirit.
Western science has given up on the concept of the soul or spirit. Instead, we talk in psychology about the Mind, which would exist out neurological patterns in the brain.
I will die to know if this alien civilization has made inventions or systems to visualize and quantify the non-material aspects of life.
Maybe they are even born with more or heightened senses.
A prerequisite for the conversation is a form of the body that is rooted in time and space.
My question would be about bioenergetic retention and transformation.
Do they have to consume planetal substances which go-to variety of chemically processed to make it through the day?
Or have their bodies progressed to another state of energy production and intake.
I have always been a fan of mythology.
If consciousness develops in similar ways on the other planets of this universe, there had to be an origin myth.
How would spirituality have evolved amongst the technology to travel to different planets?
Perhaps spirituality evolved so rapidly that they use a form of astral projection to roam the galaxy.
If it were just one question, you could ask?
What would you not ask?
